The Why
I have worked for many years in the Public Works Department. Safety was always a top priority; ladder safety was one of the main safety concerns for the municipality. I thought there has to be a safer and easier way to hang flags on decorative light poles throughout the Village. Traditionally a ladder and or a boom truck are needed along with several employees to get the job done.
After windy days, the process has to be repeated to adjust all the flags wound up from the blowing wind.
I, too, enjoy seeing all of the American flags waving in the wind and feel a sense of patriotism and community spirit! But what was troubling me was the safety hazards for the crew members.
The Solution - Simple Flag
Simple Flag is a device used to install flags much safer and easier.
The device is patent-pending; we are booking demonstrations and selling the Simple Flag tool. The crews love how simple it is to operate and how much safer it is than their old ways of handling the installations and adjustments.
